Year 3 Teacher - Leyland - from £100 per day
The successful applicant will have a passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference. Please apply if you have obtained, or are working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Recent teaching experience (including training placements) is essential, preferably within the last 3 years.

In return, you will receive a generous rate of pay (scaling with experience). Your daily rate of pay will be in the region of £100 for ECT's or £140 for experienced teachers. Hays are recruiting on behalf of a mainstream, two form entry primary school in Leyland, Lancashire. The school are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to start in September until Christmas, with the possibility to extend further. The school is rated OFSTED Good and has an excellent reputation locally. The school is conveniently located and accessible via car or public transport.
Your new role
This role is full-time, 5 days per week on a long-term temporary basis. You will be responsible for the full class-management of one of the Year 3 classes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Lesson planning and classroom preparation
- Delivering engaging lessons
- Assessment and marking
- Attending staff meetings
- Managing pupil behaviour
