Job Description

Contract Type: Permanent/ Part time
Salary: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour
Hours: 15 -30 hours per week
To provide a flexible support service to a five-year-old boy with additional needs. He requires full supervision to ensure his safety in terms of mobility and daily activities. Acting in an enabling capacity, the role will be to supervise and maintain safety whilst encouraging and implementing therapy plans. Assist with activities of daily living as required, including supervising eating and drinking. Supporting education and learning through play and interactive activities. Work in a family environment assisting parents with daily tasks and interacting and including siblings.
Accompany child and or family in accessing the wider community and leisure activities.
Previous experience working with children with additional needs is essential.
Applicants must have a full driving licence with access to their own vehicle with business use car insurance, you may also be required to drive the client's vehicle on occasion.
Hours of work:
• 15 – 30 hours per week
Rates of pay:
• £17.00 per hour weekdays
• £19.00 per hour weekend
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
