Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a dynamic school located in the BS11 area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, with the ability to inspire and engage young learners across Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student development.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring all students are able to learn in a safe and focused setting.
* Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, including those with additional educational needs.
* Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and reports to both students and parents/carers.
* Work collaboratively with the wider school team, including teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other colleagues, to support student achievement.
* Participate in school meetings, parent evenings, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for making a positive impact on students’ learning and development.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
