Job Description

**Site Manager Required for Residential Development in North Down**

Your new company
Your new company is a local, family run building contractor based in Co. Antrim specialising in the commercial, education, leisure and residential sectors, who now require a Site Manager to join their experienced workforce for an ongoing residential contract award. With a busy orderbook and ongoing works covering the whole of Northern Ireland, the company is steadily building upon their already impressive project portfolio and has an initial requirement for a Site Manager to oversee the finishing stages of an apartment block on a long-term residential project in Co. Down.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the team on an initial residential development based in North Down, with the role due to commence in late September. Works will initially involve overseeing the internals package of an apartment block before taking on a large-scale private housing development, with 3 phases already completed as site no.1. Due to the securing of a number of contracts, there will be opportunity to move on to further, long-term works following the initial temporary contract.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Site Manager, you will have proven experience in a management role, with experience in the private residential sector essential. You will have experience managing demanding schedules and budgets, demonstrating expertise in the successful delivery of high-quality, valued projects that meet the required standards. Strong communication skills will be key to motivating the site teams to ensure the delivery of this project is on time and within budget. You must have a rounded knowledge of both building and internal trades with extensive experience of overseeing residential builds from the ground up and a good knowledge of groundworks.
As the project is ongoing, and the requirement is at short notice, you must be immediately available or available for work in the next 2–3 weeks.

What you'll get in return
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a progressive company with a busy orderbook & a long-term programme of works. With unequalled opportunity for career development, the successful delivery of this project will offer potential for further, long-term works following the initial scheme. This is a rare opportunity to work right here at home with no need to travel externally.
