Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Stroud
Pay Range/details: £14.35 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Stroud, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their Tennis department. The position is full time on double day shifts and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract. Full training will be given due to company processes but candidates will have a manufacturing or engineering background with machine operating experience.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Operator
Running your own machine, you will be shown all processes within the plant to become a multi-skilled operative.
Responsible for the quality of your own work reporting any defects to your Line Manager/ Supervisor
Qualifications & Requirements – Machine Operator
Manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given
Good organiser
Sense of urgency
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to train on Double Days (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm on weekly rotation)
