Serious Injury Claims Specialist / Team Leader

Location Liverpool Hybrid 3 days in office

Salary £28,000 plus annual bonus and benefits

Our client is a personal injury claims business with offices across the UK. They are looking to hire a specialist medical claims advisor capable of dealing with the most severe medical conditions claims. Essentially the role is to support the claims process for people suffering from severe illness such as cancer and/or their bereaved families.

You do not need to be a medical expert but you will need to sympathetically handle customer service queries and claims for more complex cases.

As this role will be dealing with the more severe claims cases we see this as the senior specialist of the team. Initially this position will be front line specialist but my client does want the person in this to grow into a Team Leader role and take on a wider, cross-functional responsibilities. This will mean resulting salary increases as you progress your career.

Should you already have meet the full requirements for a Team Leader in severe personal injury claims we may be able to start you at the Team Leader level and negotiate a higher salary.

Required Experience:

Insurance or Legal Claims Advisor experience.

Must have experience of dealing with injury or medical conditions either in a customer service or claims role.

(For example someone with experience working in a hospice and also insurance claims experience would meet the overall requirements of the role).

Nice to have:

Catastrophic injury or serious illness experience.

Team Leader experience is a nice to have but not essential.
