Examinations Officer

We are seekingto appoint a full-timeExaminationsManagerto oversee all aspectsof examinationsmanagement (public and internal)withinthe school and undertake some administrative duties.

As sole Examinations Manager, the successful candidate will be able to work independently and be pro-active in ensuring all aspects of exams processes are effectively covered. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skill and a keen eye for detail, the lead in managing the examinations for the School.Theywill be ableto deal sensitivelywith avarietyof situationswithteachers, examination invigilators, pupils, parents and examination boardrepresentatives.The abilityto be clear andassertivewhilstremaining calm, composed,tactful andflexible is essential. Candidates must have a detailed understanding of JCQ and exam board regulatory requirements.

Thepost-holderwill need to be availabletowork duringthe summer holidays, particularlyin August,in orderto process examinationresultsand appealswhenthey comein.

Examination entry will include all public examinations entries such asGCSEs, iGCSEs, and A level, as well as Lamda exam entries and Duke of Edinburgh award entries, although this list is not exhaustive.

The salary scale for this role is Point 28 to Point 31

• FTE:£32,621 - £35,563
• For 37.5 hours during term-time and 20 hours for 6 weeks in the holidays
