Strategic purpose of the position:
- From 0-1, help to build up the Brazil supply chain system and structure to meet the business strategy plan and to help accelerate the Brazil market business.
- The Warehouse Operation Director position is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to balance strategy and execution. This employee will lead a dynamic team of Managers and Supervisors and to achieve operational excellence through coaching and mentoring, driving employee engagement within the Distribution Center. This employee is responsible for achieving standards of service, accuracy, and productivity with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, relationship building, along with communication and strategic thinking.
【Job Description】
1. Responsible for formulating warehouse plans and strategies for the South American fulfillment region, and providing guidance and support for the development of the entire region;
2. Comprehensively manage and supervise the operations of return warehouses and delivery warehouses, and formulate warehouse classification management plans;
3. Implement the management of self-operated and third-party operations, supervise third-party operators or partners, and ensure the required logistics operation standards and requirements can be met;
4. Supervise and coordinate operations in the warehouse, including material scanning and identification, order processing, scheduling, etc., and handle returns and customer issues in a timely manner;
5. Responsible for developing a complete warehousing plan, ensure that goods are delivered and distributed on time and in quantity, and assessing the potential risks.
6. Manage the standards such as warehouse systems, specifications and management systems, promote the quality, efficiency and quality of warehousing services in all aspects, and continuously improve customer satisfaction and brand value.
7. Manage inventory and costs, and formulate inventory management strategies, coordinate sales and procurement departments, and ensure inventory costs and benefits.
8. Responsible for team building and management,,assist team members to improve their abilities and skills, and provide timely feedback on employee performance to ensure that the team completes work tasks efficiently.
【Job requirements 】
1. Bachelor degree or above in logistics or supply chain management, more than 5 years of experience in warehouse operation management, and experience in e-commerce, clothing and textile industries is preferred;
2. Experience in standardized construction of automated new warehouses is preferred, and the ability to independently build a warehousing system is preferred;
3. Have good internal and external communication and coordination skills and promotion capabilities, be good at discovering problems, summarizing and improving;
4. Have a strong sense of responsibility, optimistic and cheerful personality, proactive work attitude, and focus on teamwork.
