Penny Farthing is our Victorian-style residential home based in New Milton, just on the edge of the New Forest. It is home to four incredible people, three males and one female, with varying support needs.
Due to the needs of these specific individuals, candidates with experience with challenging behaviour or supporting people on a 1:1/ 2:1 basis is essential.
Based on the people we support, we are able to accept applications from female candidates with a Full UK licence with access to their own vehicles and male non drivers.
If you would be travelling by train and will need a railcard, please tell us as we can help support with the cost.
As a Support Worker at Penny Farthing, each day will be different. Our residents have various interests, such as swimming, bowling, dancing, visiting local farms and going out to explore the New Forest, to name a few. Aside from getting stuck in with activities, your day might also include helping individuals with food preparation, shopping, accessing the community, providing personal care and administering medication.
The shift pattern is 8am – 3pm and 3pm -10pm and includes working alternative weekends. We have full and part time shift patterns available.
