Hawes & Curtis was established by Mr Ralph Hawes and Mr Freddie Curtis in 1913 and have been making the finest shirts for distinguished customers and royalty, notably HRH Prince of Wales and Earl Mountbatten. Today, the brand is known for its innovation, quality and ambition for growth.


We are currently seeking experienced Training Manager to deliver outstanding service for our well-known luxury brand, Hawes and Curtis.


Job overview of a Training Manager:


Under the direction of the Retail Operations Manager the retail trainer will be responsible for the delivery and roll-out of trainings and continuous improvement of training programs;

Conduct needs assessments, evaluate outcomes and manage training path for all Stores.


How you will contribute:

  • Assist in executing competency building and talent development in accordance with the brand strategies and directions
  • Roll-out and facilitate effective implementation of the trainings (Brand Image and Product, Retail Excellence, Business, Client Journey)
  • Champion training programs to create a positive and performance driven culture
  • Work in close collaboration with business managers to analyze competency gaps, identify training needs and adapt training programs and action plans to meet the business needs
  • Manage the delivery and quality of training programs including planning and coordinating training calendar, venues and participants
  • Conduct pre and post training evaluation to ensure effectiveness, applicability and continuous improvement of training programs
  • Collect, monitor and measure training KPIs (knowledge and skills retention, employee engagement and performance, client experience)
  • Conduct on-site coaching and accompany sales force in implementing their key learnings on-the-sales-floor
  • Previous hands-on experience in training and development preferably in Tailoring / Luxury retail
  • Strong analysis needs, program development, facilitation and training delivery skills
  • Mature, confident, positive mindset and excellent people skills to work with different cultures and all levels of staff
  • A self-starter with solid organization and influencing skills, able to work autonomously
  • Client-centric and strong fashion sensibility
  • Possess a passion in fostering a learning culture and developing talents
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (+ Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
