This leading City insurance firm is looking for an ambitious lawyer to join their National Professional Indemnity team. Enjoy a broad-ranging caseload including solicitors; accountants; IFAs, wealth-managers, pensions administrators and financial institutions; major insurance broking houses; surveyors; architects; D&O; and miscellaneous professions. You will be defending civil liability claims against them as well as advising on regulatory/disciplinary matters and coverage. The team focuses on high value, complex disputes and advisory work, often involving complex coverage issues and involving entities within the FCA-regulated space. Ideally you will have solid experience of coverage disputes and advisory matters in the financial, professional and management lines sector and a strong knowledge of FCA Regulation and FOS procedure. In addition to your technical expertise you should have good contacts in the insurance market and any secondment to an insurer/broker would be useful.
