A Waste Management Advisor position is available for those with a passion for waste management and customer service. This full-time role offers the opportunity to assist and advise customers on waste disposal while maximising recycling rates.
Responsibilities:
Assist and advise customers with the recycling and disposal of waste materials at designated sites.
Ensure proper separation of waste streams to facilitate recycling efforts.
Maintain clean loads of recyclates and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with customers, addressing queries and complaints.
Support the achievement of targeted recycling rates and maintain positive customer relationships.Experience:
Previous experience in the waste industry or similar manual working environments.
Demonstrated experience working with customers face-to-face and as part of a team.
Familiarity with working in environments where Health and Safety is a key concern.Knowledge:
Understanding of Health and Safety directives and Safe Systems of Work.Skills and Competencies:
Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
Flexible and willing to undertake various tasks.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Competent in operating fixed and mobile plant machinery.
