Junior Merchandiser

Our client, an iconic British high street retailer, known for its omni-channel presence is looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join their business. They are looking for driven Senior Assistant Merchandisers or Junior Merchandisers who are passionate about the retail industry and want to further their career in a fun and exciting business!

About the Role:

As the Junior Merchandiser you will be responsible for achieving department KPI’s in line with department and business plan.

Main responsibilities:

• Reviewing weekly sales and stock intake (WSSI) and taking any action steps
• Managing the trade of the department – reviewing sales & stock against plan and working with the buying team to review risk and opportunities
• Present seasonal strategy with Buyer and Designer
• Monitor product categories ensuring stock, price and offer is correct

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• Working at Junior Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser in fast paced retailer
• Experience working with a WSSI
• Commercial and market knowledge
