Senior HR Business Partner (Series A, AI Scale-up), paying up to £75k

Hawkwood is currently partnering with a high-growth AI scale-up, looking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner to join their expanding team! With 160 employees globally , our client is building out their HR function to support the next stage of their growth.

At an exciting stage of change and growth, the company seeks a driven Senior HR Business Partner who thrives in a start-up environment, has a bias for action, and wants to make a real impact. Reporting to the Head of HR, this pivotal role involves collaborating with business leaders to align business objectives with HR strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to influence both strategically and operationally, driving a high-performance culture and an exceptional employee experience.

Salary: £70-75k+

Office Location: Central London

Working Pattern: Remote-first

Key Responsibilities:

⚡ Strategic Partnering: Serve as the main point of contact for your business areas, aligning leaders with business goals and driving a high-performing, inclusive culture.

⚡ Culture Champion: Promote and ensure company culture is reflected throughout all teams.

⚡ Performance Management: Collaborate with the wider People team to lead the development and implementation of programs that instill a feedback-rich culture.

⚡ Leadership Development & Coaching: Mentor the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), work on development initiatives, and drive succession planning.

⚡ Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion data integrity and leverage it to inform HR decisions.

Who You Are:

✅ An experienced HR Business Partner with a background in tech or high-growth companies.

✅ Proven track record in leading strategic HR initiatives.

✅ Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence senior leaders.

✅ Resilient and adaptable, with experience collaborating through periods of growth and change.

✅ A proactive thinker with problem-solving abilities.

✅ Strong understanding of employment law across the UK and US, with experience managing HR issues at a global scale.
