Credit Controller

At Barnett Waddingham, we are currently recruiting a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a friendly team within the Finance business area. The Finance team provide support to the Firm in relation to all financial matters concerning the various legal entities within the BW group.

This is a Permanent role (hybrid working) and based in our Birmingham office.

A snapshot of your day:

• Preparing a monthly Credit Control report for finance committee
• Production of all client Monthly Statements
• Ensuring all clients are chased for payment within their agreed payment terms
• Resolving client queries
• Attend and participate at monthly Credit Control meeting with line manager
• Advising Sales Ledger on any discrepancies
• Covering and assisting the sales ledger clerk as and when required
• Support, Implement and Maintain Information Security procedures and activities in accordance to Barnett Waddingham’s Information Security Policy

We would love to hear from if you have:

• Previous credit control experience is essential
• Knowledge of sales ledger procedures is essential
• Experience of working within an accounts function would be necessary (accounts function within a professional services organisation would be desirable)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with Oracle fusion or a similar ERP system is highly desirable
• Minimum of GCSE Grade “5” or “C” in Maths and English
