Senior Quantity Surveyor – HINKLEY POINT C – Up to £70,000 per annum

Accountabilities
* Manage change through CEMAR, ensuring compliance with contractual timelines.
* Ensure the prompt preparation of Monthly Applications for Payment, in line with contractual requirements.
* Provide commercial guidance to the site team and management on all contractual matters.
* Oversee supply chain management by drafting and issuing NEC3 subcontracts, ensuring clear communication of contractual obligations.
* Prepare internal contract valuations, ensuring precise assessments of project costs and progress.
* Produce monthly cost and value reports, presenting them to senior management.
* Maintain effective communication with project managers, the managing QS, and related engineering disciplines.
* Compile forecasts, attend forecast meetings, and contribute to data-driven decision-making and proactive risk management.
* Support Contracts Managers and operational teams by providing sound commercial advice, leveraging industry knowledge and best practices.
* Mentor junior members of the commercial team, encouraging their professional development and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
* A strong understanding of NEC contract forms.
* A relevant degree-level qualification.
* The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with values ranging from £10k to £10m.
* A driven, self-motivated attitude with strong commercial acumen, proficient in Microsoft Excel and othe Office applications
* Experience in generating both internal and external reports.
* Experience in Nuclear, M&E, or Civil Engineering (desirable)
* Experience working under TSC contracts (desirable)
* Relevant professional qualification (RICS/CICES) (desirable)
