Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will work in a core accounting role in a broad and busy role. Core responsibilities include:
Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the group providing insightful explanations of material deviations from plans, forecasts and historical trends
Ownership of all ledgers and providing the supporting monthly reports
VAT returns
Maintaining the fixed assets register
Review and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient use of available systems
What you'll need to succeed
Actively studying for an ACCA or CIMA qualification or Qualified By Experience
Extensive month-end experience, preferably working within a SME finance function
Previous experience in a fast-moving environment.
Proven background in enhancing processes / procedures
