Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adult Team – Manchester
Immediate Start | Ongoing Role
Are you a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with experience in adult mental health care? We’re looking for someone like you to join our dynamic team in Manchester and contribute to making a real difference in the lives of adults facing mental health challenges!
Key Role Details:
Position: Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) – Adult Team
Band: 6
Location: Manchester
Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Schedule: Full-time (Days)
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: £26
A Glimpse Into Your Day as a CPN in the Adult Team:
In this essential role, you’ll provide comprehensive care and support to adults in the community. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Home Visits: Conducting regular assessments and check-ins with adult patients to evaluate their mental health needs.
Medication Management: Administering prescribed medications and ensuring treatment adherence.
Support and Communication: Engaging in meaningful conversations to understand patients' challenges, providing emotional support, and monitoring their progress.
Risk Assessment: Performing thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety of patients and those around them, creating a secure environment for their treatment.
Requirements:
NMC Registration as a mental health nurse (RMN).
Proven experience with adult mental health in a community setting.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care for adult patients.
