Shift Co-ordinator

We are working with our client in Reading to recruit an Onsite Shift Co-ordinator to assist the operation during their busiest time.

THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warehouse Operative
• Checking in Colleagues
• Delivering performance plans / Performance review
• Return to works
• Liase with Agency Manager and Client Team Managers.

October to December Day Shift 05.30 14.00 Thursday to Monday

THE ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Site tours and delivering Inductions
• Reconfirming shifts
• Checking in Colleagues
• Return to works
• Liase with Agency Manager and Client Team Managers.
• And General Warehouse Operative Duties including Voice pick outside of the Co-ordinator duties.

Picking/packing either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy Loading and unloading trailers Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties Accurate input of data into Company computer systems and manual records Achieve the targets (KPIs) and job standards Maintain high standards of site housekeeping Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day-to-day tasks

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read and write basic English Able to follow instructions. Able to work under pressure, to targets and deadlines. Numerical and focused on accuracy. Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting. Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, including manual handling. Able to work as part of a team. Previous experience preferred but not essential. Able to use initiative and identify issues at work and suggest options for improvement.
