Junior Designer - Products and Merchandise

RDP-Creative are looking for a junior designer to join a well established in-house design team, assisting the team to design a range of different promotional and retail products, largely for the movie, gaming, and entertainment industries. The role involves both graphic and 3D design, so a product/industrial background or degree would be preferable.

Your responsibilities would mostly include:

• Market research and ideation, creating mood boards.

• Visualisation and development of concepts by creating 2D and 3D visuals.

• Building presentations to convey and sell the ideas.

• Studio and lifestyle photography of our physical products.

• Creating marketing material.

• Creating physical mockups and other general help around the studio,.

• Knowledge in the following programs is required:

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe InDesign

• Rhinoceros (or similar) and a rendering programme.

It’s an exciting opportunity to become part of fast paced and experience design team, and help design fun merchandise while also developing your skills and experience across a wide range of disciplines, materials and manufacturing methods.

Some similar industry experience would be helpful, and a degree in a relevant field is important, but an interest in movies and/or gaming is essential.
