About the Role


Working across WiHTL & DiR and inclusion in, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and your responsibilities will include:


  • Creating compelling written content for our Community; including website, newsletters and business updates supporting the launch of key initiatives
  • Writing press releases, articles and case studies to boost brand visibility and reinforce WiHTL & DiR as the voice of EDI in our industry
  • Building and nurturing relationships with media outlets, crafting press releases, and securing media coverage
  • Supporting the creation of business development proposals for our Advisory Services brand, inclusion in
  • Acting as the custodian of all written output across various public facing documents
  • Leading digital communications via HubSpot (CRM)
  • Tracking and reporting on the performance of communications activities, using data to inform strategy and improvements
  • Working closely with all functions to ensure consistent messaging across all channels


This is a fully remote position, with the requirement to attend in-person events on a regular basis. These could be in London or at Member premises across the UK.


About You


  • Previous experience in a communications, PR or content role is essential, you may already be a Communications Manager or an experienced Communications Executive looking to take on more responsibility
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must as is the ability to turn thought leadership into compelling content
  • You will be passionate about making a difference and creating inclusive workplaces, always seeking to write compelling thought leadership content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with creative flair
  • Experience of SEO and updating web platforms like Google Sites, Wordpress or Squarespace
  • A problem solver who seeks solutions, can ‘join the dots’ and work collaboratively to improve efficiency
  • Experience of influencing at a senior level across multiple businesses
  • Experience of using a CRM system, preferably HubSpot
  • A self starter with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
