Hanson Recruitment is looking to recruit Psychology Students and Psychology graduates to work asTeaching Assistants in schools in South-West.
We offer flexible, well-paid work opportunities in school settings to both Psychology students andPsychology graduates with background in Psychology, Counselling, Neuro-Science as TeachingAssistants.
Pay Rate: £75 - £90 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). The work will be taking placein schools during the week during school hours (8.30am-3.30pm).
Psychology GraduateResponsibilities include:
The role of working as Teaching Assistant with Psychology Background will enable you to use bothyour academic knowledge as a psychology student and inter-personal skills to support children in the classroom. You will be able to work flexible days around your studies or other commitments and can change your availability week by week. You will get paid weekly and work in a job that will compliment your studies or psychology knowledge.

- Providing bot dedicated support to individual pupils and the other pupils in class
- Supporting the students academic progress and development
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive
- and inclusive learning environment.
- Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional development
- Following all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policies
- Experience of working with children in any capacity
- Psychology Degree/Equivalent Qualification or studying towards one
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work between 08:30-15:30 hours during the week term-time.
