Hire Desk Controller

Expanding into their new site in Bradford, we are looking for someone to join the Hire Desk Team, to develop and maintain professional relationship with customers and clients, building trust and delivering exceptional service to key accounts; and manage the rental of equipment, machinery and tools.

Joining a high performing team, this is a fast paced role, suited to someone ambitious and detail oriented, with a history of customer service and plant knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively and accurately to customers.
• Hiring plant & machinery, ensuring the right equipment is in the right place, at the right time.
• Become an expert in pricing and specification - advising and supporting the Hire Negotiators.
• Raise quotes for enquiries.
• Work collaboratively with the Service & Transport departments to ensure smooth delivery of service.
• Prepare reports for customers.
• Creating Revenue Reports for the Hire Desk.
• Resolving queries, giving correct information and solving any issues as they arise.

To Be Successful:

• A team approach, with the ability to work autonomously when needed.
• Plant knowledge highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a customer service position.
• Previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• A dynamic and ambitious personality.
• The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and juggle multiple tasks.
• Organised, with meticulous attention to detail with strong administrative skills.
