Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Taunton
Salary: £85 to £95 per day
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom.
Work closely with the teacher to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Assist with academic, social, and emotional development to ensure every child reaches their potential.
Develop strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging independence and confidence.
Help with any additional care or support needs, including personal or medical care if required.
Requirements:
A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
Experience with SEN students is a plus, but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A positive and flexible attitude to adapt to the needs of the students.
