Materials Handler - Oxford - £25,000

A Materials Handler / Facilities Technician is required by a leading scientific company, working our of their head office on the Oxford Science Park (OX4).

The role is focused on waste management within a laboratory setting, adhering to strict Health and Safety and Good Laboratory Practice guidelines.

This is a relatively physical role involving some lifting as well as driving a small van and operating MHE such as a pallet truck.

The ideal person for this role will be responsible, able to think on their feet and take a pro-active approach to their work. You must also hold a valid UK driving licence and be confident driving on the A34 to move equipment between their sites in Oxford and Abingdon.

Any previous experience of handling chemicals would be highly advantageous, although not essential.

This is a temporary position initially, for 3 to 6 months, but with excellent prospects to become permanent and grow and develop as the company continues to grow.
