Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Assistant Accountant based in Edinburgh on a 28 hour part time basis with incredible hybrid working paying up to a full time equivalent of £28,000.

The Role

The Assistant Accountant role is a newly created role, the successful candidate needs to be able to work accurately and effectively at speed, to assist the organisation. The Assistant Accountant will report to the Finance Manager.

The key components of the role will be:

• Bookkeeping
• Assisting with audit procedures
• Payroll
• Expense management

Candidate Profile

We are keen to engage with candidates that have the following experience:

• 18+ months practical finance experience
• Experienced in financial systems & software
• Proficient user of Excel
• Strong communication skills
