About the Role

As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects and large programs that align with our business goals. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, including leadership, department heads, and external partners, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, a natural leader, and skilled at balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for you to have prior experience of working within the capacity of this role and ideally have experience operating in the defence industry.

Delivery Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management of assigned programs, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, and budget, mitigating risks and resolving issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Define project milestones and success metrics, ensuring all teams are aligned to achieve deliverables.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors.
• Monitor progress and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage change requests and ensure timely communication of updates to all relevant parties.
• Lead program retrospectives and identify areas for growth and optimisation in future projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or PMP certification is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in project or program management
• Proven track record of managing large-scale programs with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to influence at all levels.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
