POSITION SUMMARY:


Manage and coordinate crib activity for the plant. Implement standard processes to manage crib operations, the requisition process and crib personnel. Interfaces with hourly associates, Operations, Materials, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources and IT.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities.


· Direct and coordinate daily operation of the crib.


· Manage and accurately report crib inventory.


· Problem solve issues and address discrepancies.


· Suggest improvement processes to gain efficiency and reduce cost.


· Ensure proper training and manage crib personnel.


· Coordinate materials procurement and supplier management with the Purchasing Department.


· Oversee standard work processes and procedures relating to crib activities.


· Drive common part /material identification system.


· Maintain housekeeping at a high level.


· Support plant goals and initiatives.


· All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


· Minimum of 3 years of experience working with materials and inventories in a manufacturing environment.


· Knowledge of inventory systems and purchasing procedures used to support plant operations.


· Knowledge of plant operations.


· High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.


· Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.


· Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


· Root cause / problem solving ability.


· Ability to work well with others in a team environment.


· Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
