Job Description


Our client is a wellness company selling a therapeutic cream to pregnant women, new mothers and babies. Manufactured in the UK using 100% natural and vegan ingredients it is sold in the UK and US on Amazon, its own website and, in the future, retail. The business is seeking its first dedicated brand marketing professional to help build the brand’s identity, awareness and continue its sales growth. Sales have consistently doubled every year for the last four years and its team have been part of $0-$50M success stories in the recent past.


Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile Head of Brand Marketing to develop and execute the company’s brand marketing strategy across all channels. This role will be crucial in expanding brand presence, increasing sales, and the brand and its products position in the competitive wellness market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand marketing strategy aligned with business goals
  • Take control and further hone the brand and products’ positioning and in the market including packaging, tone-of-voice and messaging.
  • Grow the subscription business winning more clients and increasing their LTV.
  • Set up and monitor market research and analyse wellness trends in adjacent product sectors
  • Create and manage product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with paid media teams to drive traffic and conversions on e-commerce website through SEO, content marketing, and paid advertising
  • Create and manage social media content and campaigns to build brand awareness and engage with our audience
  • Extend and develop existing ambassadors’ programme
  • Collaborate with product development team to gather insights for new product launches
  • Research and propose potential retail partnerships
  • Collaborate with agency to manage and optimize Amazon presence, including product listings, A+ content, and advertising campaigns
  • Manage marketing budget and allocate resources effectively

· Comfortable being the only brand marketer on the team and able to thrive with little direction; a self-starter.

· Highly adaptable to market conditions, trends and competition

· Passion for wellness products

· Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail

· An ability to educate rest of team on brand initiatives and their effectiveness


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with influencer marketing
  • Familiarity with wellness industry trends and consumer behaviour
  • Experience with influencer marketing
  • Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software
  • Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms
