Job Description

Dispatch Operative required on the outskirts of Maidstone on a temporary to permanent basis.

You will join an established team and be responsible for allocating materials and stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inbound process of stock.
  • Ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
  • Assist with stock taking ensuring accuracy of the records.
  • Issue stock internally, maintaining storage disciplines, systems, and records.
  • Pack goods ready for shipment
  • Check each item for visual defects when packing and report any issues.
  • Follow all packing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Work with the Dispatch Department to confirm completion of the orders.
  • Maintain packing material supplies.

About you:

  • At least 12 months of relevant experience that can be transferred to this role.
  • Good IT skills
  • Organised
  • Able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Team Player
  • This can be a physically demanding role with lifting required.

This role is Monday to Friday 8-5 and pays £11.44ph. Our client invests in their staff with opportunities for further training.
