Job Description
Part Time Finance & Operations Lead. MedTech. 20hpw+. Up to £65K FTE (doe). Hybrid (Oxford/Remote)
Are you an experienced and confident Finance and Operations lead with a desire to work for a purpose-lead, flexible, and ambitious business. Our MedTech client is expanding their team and are looking for someone to oversee the efficient running of their new finance and operations function.
Our Client
Our client is a small Oxford based MedTech team on a mission to empower individuals to break out of problematic eating patterns through accessible, evidence-informed, and person-centred digital care.
The Role
Due to growth, our client is hiring for an experienced Finance and Operations professional to join their dedicated and passionate team.
This role will be a pivotal member of our client's team, taking overall responsibility for the efficient functioning of day-to-day operations alongside the initial operational financial aspects of the business, with a view to growing this part of the role through bringing inhouse the currently externally managed activity.
The successful candidate will play a leading role at a purpose-lead start-up at the forefront of its niche.
The Candidate
?Qualified, or qualified by experience finance professional.
?Proven experience in a senior finance and operations role, ideally within a start up environment.
?Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
?Proficient Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with finance software.
?Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
?Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing operational processes.
?An understanding of compliance and/or legal frameworks within healthcare would be desirable.
?You enjoy detailed tasks and problem-solving
?You enjoy working closely with different professional groups, such as clinicians, technology teams, academics and management.
If you have experience working within tech and or medical areas this would be beneficial, this role is going to require a candidate to be aware of the nuances of B2C platforms, especially those which access and process highly personal and sensitive data.
The Terms
?This role is being offered on a part time basis with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week, up to full time.
?The role will receive a salary of up to £65K FTE, depending on skills and experience.
?the role is highly flexible in perms of working pattern and location, however some time in their Oxford based offices on Mondays and Wednesdays would be highly desirable.
