Job Description
Mac Operator/Artworker | Southend on Sea | £23,795.20 - £25,396.80 per annum
As one of the UK’s fastest-growing printers, Solopress is always looking for great people to join our very friendly and hardworking team. Due to expansion, we are now looking for an experienced Mac Operator/Artworker to join us here in Southend on Sea, Essex.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
* Preparing customer artwork to a print ready standard for our workflow alongside sending proofs to customers for their approval.
* Using our admin software to book approved jobs onto our workflow and use pitstop/Acrobat to preflight print files.
* Liaising with customers to resolve issues with their artwork and answering queries about the proof.
Role Requirements
* Good working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (mainly illustrator and InDesign).
* Familiar with spot colours, overprint and paper sizes would be advantageous.
