Are you looking for a part-time, flexible role?
Are you eager to gain experience teaching and supporting pupils’ learning?
Are you studying / have recently studied Sports & Physical Education?
TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a number of excellent Secondary Schools across Leeds and West Yorkshire. TeacherActive is working closely with the schools to recruit Cover Supervisors for part-time day-to-day cover, specialising in P.E. The ideal Cover Supervisors will have experience working with pupils aged 11 – 16, and will be able to confidently manage a classroom environment. The role is part-time, and would be ideal for Sports & Physical Education students who are looking for part-time work to fit around their studies, and are wanting to go onto Teaching.
The successful Cover Supervisor will be confident working with pupils in both KS3 & KS4, and will be passionate about getting into teaching and working with young people. The successful applicant will be able to be both flexible and patient, and will have excellent communication skills.
The successful Cover Supervisor will:
Confidently cover pre-planned lessons
Have excellent strategies for managing challenging behaviour
Be able to support the pupils with their learning and answer any questions they have
