About The Role


Working closely with Material Supply, Production Planning and Warehousing teams to ensure dry goods materials are delivered on time in full to meet production plans, at our bottling site in Airdrie and across our 3rd party bottling network.


Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the creation of the weekly material supplier schedules, optimizing availability, while balancing warehouse capacity
  • Use the weekly production schedule and SAP bill of material data to build the weekly material delivery schedule.
  • Communicate proposal with IBHL warehouse team and ensure they provide delivery dates and times for each supplier and or load
  • Communicate final delivery schedules to suppliers, ensuring positive confirmation is received and timed deliveries are provided where required.
  • Communicate final delivery schedules to IBHL and 03rd party warehousing teams.
  • Raise supplier call offs and purchase orders in SAP
  • Ensure SAP transactions are completed correctly to support accuracy of inventory
  • Work closely with Suppliers to optimize transportation/load building and reduce logistics costs
  • Act as the first point of contact for delivery issues, escalating to Category Managers where issues cannot be resolved, or where production plans will be impacted
  • Work closely with Production Planning to track adherence to plan, acting upon any required changes to material supply
  • Attend regular meetings with the warehousing teams (internal and external) to review supply or storage issues
  • Support KPI creation to track supplier delivery performance. Working closely with the IBHL bottling hall to ensure arrival on time data is recorded
  • Participate in regular Supplier Review Meetings to discuss any ongoing issues, improvement plans and share performance data
  • Manage and own your professional development in order to achieve your work objectives and your career and personal goals.

About You

  • Min 1-2 years experience of material scheduling, or similar planning and or coordinating role
  • Good attention to detail
  • Numerically literate
  • Basic / intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience of working with ERP and MRP systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload

  • Basic understanding of end to end Supply Chain processes
