The Job
* Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects, including breakdowns, PPM, equipment updates, and installations
* Complete PPM activities on schedule and provide feedback to improve the system
* Collaborate with cross-shift engineers for effective handover and information sharing
* Contribute to continuous improvement of plant and maintenance activities
* Enhance equipment performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of replacement parts
* Repair equipment safely and communicate progress to production teams
* Manage remedial engineering works as directed by the Engineering Manager
* Report safety risks and ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
* Maintain excellent communication with production staff and co-workers
* Uphold good housekeeping standards and company disciplines
What You’ll Need
Education/Experience:
* Recognised qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
* Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical trades, preferably with apprenticeship experience
* Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ideally proficient in Electrical Installation (17th Edition)
* Mechanical fabrication and electronic fault-finding expertise
* Ability to build effective relationships and work as part of a team
* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated with flexibility to work unsocial hours
