About the Client:
Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturing company, supplying premium products to retail stores across Scotland and Northern England. As part of their growth strategy, we are recruiting for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join their leadership team.

The Role:
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets. You will lead a team of experienced sales professionals, building on existing client relationships while identifying new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector. You will work closely with the executive team to ensure that the sales strategy aligns with the company’s overall business objectives, driving long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the manufacturing sector.

* Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and developing innovative product lines.

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.

* Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, Production, and Marketing, to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.

* Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the executive team.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally as a Sales Director within the manufacturing sector.

* A strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.

* Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* A strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

* Experience with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
