Job Description

My client are a well-established construction developer and contractor delivering new build construction and housing/extra care schemes across the North West.

With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes, they are seeking a talented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You'll be working on a number of New Build Education and Housing projects up to £20m.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will include assisting the commercial team with the below:

Efficiently manage project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial objectives.
Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration.
Proficiently handle various contract forms, including JCT D&B, management contracting, and NEC, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement.
Effectively manage subcontractor relationships, including procurement, payment applications, and dispute resolution.
Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cost, contracts, and procurement.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and cost analysis.Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years experience as an Assistant QS.Benefits:
