We are a Foundation Special School working to improve the outcome for all children and young people attending the school.
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic English department. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about engaging students with the language, literature and a love of the subject. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students aged 11-16, preparing them for their GCSE examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Planning, preparing, and assessing students' work to ensure exceptional progress.
Contributing to the development of the English curriculum and resources.
Collaborating with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Supporting the school's commitment to providing personalised care, guidance, and support.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
A passion for English and the ability to inspire students.
Ability to teach English at secondary level, including GCSE.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
