A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bartender with Mixology knowledge has opened up in a well-known restaurant in Billericay Essex.

Our client has the best reputation in the area for fresh seasonal fine dining food.

The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday for Lunch and Dinner as well as special events.

Due to growth and internal promotion, they are looking for an experienced restaurant manager with excellent customer service to join their team.

Our client is offering a fantastic package of £37,500pa as well as room to grow within the business to Bar manager in the future.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Mixologist or Bar Supervisor for at least 1 year in a restaurant environment. Right to work in the UK is a must and being able to commute to this location without the need of public transport.

A bar supervisor is in charge of overseeing the daily operations of a bar, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your tasks would include managing bartender staff, making sure that customers are satisfied, restocking supplies as necessary, and complying with all relevant health and safety regulations.

• Ensuring the bar and staff operate efficiently
• Upholding high hygiene standards
• Reconciling banking
• Marketing and promoting products
• Hiring and training staff
• Creating weekly work schedules
• Maintain inventory and stock
• Making all cocktails for the bar and restaurant

Requirements and skills

• One year of bar supervisory or leadership experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Stock and financial accuracy and resolution skills
• Motivational and a passion for developing others
• Computer and POS proficiency
• Ability to maintain high standards when working under pressure
