CNC Programmer / Near Bracknell / £48,000 - £51,000
Are you a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer looking to work with cutting-edge technology? We are seeking a 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join a world-renowned engineering firm near Bracknell. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and take your career to the next level.
Location / Hours: Based near Bracknell, you'll work Monday to Thursday from 7:00am to 5:30pm, and Friday from 7:00am to 12:00pm. Fixed 45-hour week (39 hours basic plus 6 hours overtime).
CNC Programmer Duties:
Programming and running 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring high-quality precision machining.
Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol machines is a strong advantage. However, if you are a confident 5-axis programmer without Mazak experience, training will be provided.
Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints with accuracy.
Use CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, or similar, to generate CNC programs.
Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixturing to ensure optimal machine performance.
Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other staff to ensure project success.The Ideal CNC Programmer:
Proven experience with 5-axis machining, ideally with Mazak machines.
Knowledge of advanced 5-axis machining techniques (e.g., 3+2 positioning, simultaneous 5-axis).
Previous experience in sectors such as Aerospace, Defence, or Motorsport is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality components.
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.Salary:
