Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join a leading construction consultancy in Sheffield. This role offers practical experience and structured support on a wide range of commercial and residential projects, setting you on a clear path to achieving Chartered status with RICS.

Role
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will work under the guidance of senior surveyors, providing essential support on a variety of projects. This role will give you a strong foundation in building surveying services, including condition surveys, project management, contract administration, and dilapidations, and will offer a structured pathway to professional qualification.
Responsibilities
* Carry out building surveys, condition assessments, and site inspections
* Assist in preparing detailed reports, specifications, and schedules
* Support project management and contract administration tasks
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Stay up-to-date with building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practice
Person
* Qualifications: A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
* Ambition: Strong motivation to pursue RICS Chartered status
* Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
* Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Location: Ideally based in or near Sheffield, or willing to relocate
