Position: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Borough of Bexley Primary Schools

Roles: Supply and Temporary Positions Available
Job Description:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural needs.
Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies.
Assist classroom teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
Monitor and report on student progress, ensuring each child receives the support they need.
Encourage positive behaviour and support students in developing social skills.
Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the child's educational and emotional development.Person Specification:
We are looking for candidates who:
Have experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
Are patient, compassionate, and dedicated to supporting children with behavioural challenges.
Demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
Can work flexibly and adapt to the needs of different schools and students.
Hold a relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
