Job Description
Our client, a leading business in the Finance industry is seeking a Trainee Business Development Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth our client is looking to add a Trainee Business Development Executive to join their team, working with a team of Sales Executives to build new business, new relationships and close deals.
This is the ideal role for someone with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar sales role, or someone who is looking for their first position in a business development / sales environment where you will be able to earn commission, work towards targets and build new client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contacting new and existing clients
- Researching suitable businesses to contact and building connections
- Generate sales leads and book meetings
- Qualifying inbound leads whilst making initial contact
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times to new businesses and potential clients
- Updating and maintaining internal systems and databases with accuracy and attention to detail at all times
Key Experience:
- Previous sales experience would be advantageous although not essential
- Experience in a customer service-related role where you have been required to speak on the phone with customers would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of written grammar and communication skills
- Strong willingness to succeed, build new relationships and work towards targets in a driven and motivated environment
