Sales Ledger/Credit Controller

Sales Ledger & Credit Controller / Temp Perm / Erith, Kent / £13.50 per hour

Overview:

My client, a local family-owned business based in Erith, Kent, are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger & Credit Controller to join their busy accounts team on a temp - permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Process 50+ orders per day to invoice
• Assess customer credit limits and raise any issues with senior management
• Process customer credits
• Ensure you chase overdue money within an agreed time frame via email and phone
• Assist with cash allocations
• Spend 35% chasing money on the phone, 65% processing allocations etc

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years experience working within a busy accounts team
• Confident chasing debt by phone and email
• Experience conducting credit checks on various companies
• Great common sense and team player mentality

Package:

• £13.50 per hour
• Office based with free parking
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:30pm (office based)
• £26,000 - £28,000 permanent salary
