Job Title: Dinny Hall Temporary Part time Sales Consultant – Harvey Nichols Manchester


Dinny Hall – recently awarded branded jewellery boutique of the year in 2024 – is a leading British jewellery brand with 6 stores in London and a fast-growing global web business. Dinny’s ethos is that jewellery must be worn, loved and celebrated every day. The brand was established in 1985 and has gone from strength to strength to become known as one of the most high profile and much loved jewellery brands in the UK.

Dinny Hall is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Temporary Part-Time Sales Associate to join the Dinny Hall jewellery concession in Harvey Nichols, Manchester. This is a Part-time role, with flexibility required. Shifts may vary depending on the store’s operational needs.

It is a temporary position with the potential for a permanent role based on performance and business growth.

Specific roles and responsibilities include:


  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and knowledge of Dinny Hall product and collections’ inspirations and stories.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in line with both Harvey Nichols and Dinny Hall’s standards of luxury retail.
  • Confident in styling and advising customers to deliver luxurious shopping experience.
  • Develop loyalty and connections with our customers by building relationships through a 1-2-1 personal shopper style approach to sales.
  • Have an awareness of current brand marketing campaigns, social media and emailers, new launches and promotions.
  • Actively maximizing sales and introducing add-ons and up-sells, keeping customers’ needs at the center of every stage of the process.
  • To deal effectively and proactively with all customer enquiries.
  • Feedback to manager on current trade and share any customer feedback.
  • Ensure a knowledge of DH omnichannel monthly sales targets.
  • Follow all stock management procedures.
  • Support the team to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, hospitality, visual merchandising within the store.
  • To be conversant with selling systems and Company administration procedures.
  • Take all actions necessary to maximize security and prevent theft of product.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings and make a positive contribution.
  • Smart use of our DH Smart Phone contributing to the omnichannel way of working, use of WhatsApp selling, contribute to Live Chat, and general 360-degree way of thinking.


The Candidate:


  • Experience within a luxury retail environment, ideally Jewellery sales experience
  • Proven selling skills and working against targets
  • A great communicator and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • A genuine interest in Jewelry and Fashion
  • Eager to learn and build on your retail and product knowledge
  • Ability to represent brand in appropriate way


· Be articulate with a good command of both spoken and written English

· A flexible team player who is always ready to go the extra mile.

· Can demonstrate knowledge and passion for the Dinny Hall brand as well as awareness of brand competitors.
