Pitreavie Dunfermline Golf Club are looking to appoint an outstanding catering franchise.

Founded in 1922, The course was designed by the internationally renowned architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie most famous for designing one of the worlds finest courses at Augusta National in Georgia, home of the US Masters. His influence can be strongly felt at Pitreavie, not least in the double and triple-tiered greens.

This vacancy provides an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, entrepreneurial catering individual/team, keen to provide an exceptional service to members and guests.

The club has over 800 members and plays host to multiple golf societies, club/inter-club fixtures , open competitions, weddings, funerals and evening functions.

We are situated on the outskirts of Dunfermline right next to Pitcorthie housing estate.

The Club offers a fully equipped kitchen ,which was refurbished in 2022a dining room for 40 seated guests and lounge/bar area providing seating for 80 people.

The successful candidate(s) will:

Have experience as a chef and be able to deliver a wide variety of food, for day-to-day dining, events, and functions.

Develop all standard menus, plus bespoke menus.

Provide quality food with high standards of presentation and service that offer value for money.

Be able to devise, promote and deliver social dining events that appeal to the membership.

Good communication skills with high focus on customer service to bothmembers and visitors.

Work effectively as a team with the club management, social committee, and cross functional teams.

Have the appropriate up to date knowledge and certification in food hygiene, H&S, and COSHH regulations.

Closing date 18th October with an ideal starting date ofEarly 2025
