We're seeking a dynamic Production Coordinator to join our team and ensure smooth, efficient production of our high-quality art prints.


Position Summary

The Production Coordinator will be responsible for planning and overseeing the fabrication of various art works, including the production of prints. They will be pivotal in ensuring that we have the right materials in sufficient quantities to meet the demands of our limited edition drops.


This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for quality and timely delivery, while also driving operational efficiency in an environment of increasing production volumes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule production runs based on sales forecasts and confirmed orders
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials (paper, inks, packaging etc)
  • Manage inventory levels of production materials and finished products
  • Liaise with sales and customer service teams to align production with demand
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes
  • Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
  • Collaborate with artists and the design team to understand specific requirements for each print run
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production area
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs as production volumes increase
  • Continuously optimise production processes to maintain quality while scaling operations


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field would be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or related role
  • Strong background in logistics, supply chain management, or wholesale retail
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving measures in growing production environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the printing or art industry
  • Knowledge of fine art printing techniques and materials
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience with scaling production operations while maintaining quality and efficiency

Working Conditions
