Job Overview
At Schenker International we are looking for a Logistics Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of client warehouses located in Jundiai Brazil. This role collaborates closely with the finance team, operations management, and headquarters to ensure accurate and strategic financial oversight.
What Will You Enjoy Doing (Duties/Tasks)
- Financial Reporting: Analyze and prepare financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international standards (IFRS).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets, monitor variances, and recommend cost-effective solutions to improve financial performance.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability assessments, cost management, and projections to support operational decisions.
- Operational Support: Assist operations with pricing strategies and client proposals by providing detailed financial insights.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal control processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and prevent discrepancies.
What you need to succeed?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Languages: Fluent in both Portuguese and English, with strong communication skills, especially in presenting results to senior leadership.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), MS Excel, and financial reporting software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Brazilian accounting standards (CPCs) and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Leadership: Proven leadership capabilities, with experience working across departments and coordinating with headquarters.
- Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable interacting with subordinates, customers, and senior management, fostering effective collaboration between functional areas.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally to support warehouse operations and attend key meetings.
