The Opportunity

The business now has a need for a senior IP lawyer with strong brands experience to join and manage its London-based IP team. The business has a highly sophisticated IP function and as part of the leadership team, you will work closely with the business across a wide geographical area (GB, Europe and beyond.) Whilst the brands have a strong history, the business is known for its commitment to innovation, its people and for never sitting still….it constantly strives to make its brands not just relevant but continually iconic - you will support this endeavour both on a day to day and strategic level.

About You

A strong IP brands skillset is key, with some hands-on management experience also being required. The ability to work collaboratively with marketing, advertising and innovation teams is also key. Strong relationship development skills and the ability to work on complex IP matters in a commercial way is also essential. The role is a key role for this high profile IP team and will suit an individual who wants to take on more of a managerial role, who can lead a team and who has a global mindset. Given the nature and complexity of the IP work involved, industry experience in FMCG, luxury, retail or consumer brands would all suit.
