Working Site Foreman – Restoration & Conservation

We're looking for a dedicated Working Site Foreman to join our team and help lead our projects to success.
The Role:
As a Working Site Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and setting out projects, while also getting hands-on with the work. You will ensure that our restoration and conservation projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional who values the importance of preserving our cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
* Set out and manage project plans, schedules, and resources.
* Supervise and support site workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
* Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Work on the tools alongside your team, demonstrating best practices in restoration and conservation techniques.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Working Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the restoration and conservation sector.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
* Hands-on experience with restoration and conservation tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.
* Passionate about preserving historical buildings and structures.
Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction, restoration, or conservation.
* CSCS card or equivalent (preferred).
* First Aid certification (preferred).
